1. Information we collect
We collect information you provide directly, including athletic profile data, performance statistics, contact information, and identity verification documents. We also collect usage data including IP addresses (stored as one-way hashes) and user agent strings for abuse prevention.
2. How we use your information
We use your information to generate NIL estimates, verify your identity, communicate with you about your results, and improve our models. Anonymized, aggregated data may be used for research, market intelligence dashboards shown to verified agents, and to improve estimate accuracy. No aggregated view exposes any individual athlete without their consent.
3. Sharing with verified agents
If you explicitly click Request intro on an agent card, we share your name, sport, position, school, division, expected NIL, and any contact info you provide with that specific agent — and only that agent. We do not resell agent contact requests or share your data with anyone you did not authorize.
4. Data sharing generally
We do not sell your personal information. We may share data with service providers we rely on to operate the platform: Stripe (payments), Twilio (SMS), Resend (email), AWS S3 (ID document storage), and our hosting provider Railway. Each is contractually bound to only use your data to serve TransferMetrics.
5. Data security
Identity documents are stored in private, access-controlled S3 buckets. Phone numbers are stored in E.164 format. Passwords are bcrypt-hashed. All consent records are versioned and timestamped, and every admin action is logged to an audit trail.
6. Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data at any time by emailing privacy@transfermetrics.com. Verified athletes can also edit their own profile and delete NIL offers directly from their profile page. You may opt out of communications at any time by replying STOP to SMS messages or unsubscribing from email.
7. Cookies & analytics
We use a minimal set of first-party cookies to keep you signed in. We do not sell your browsing behavior. We may collect aggregate, anonymous product analytics to improve the site.
8. Children
TransferMetrics is intended for eligible NCAA / NAIA / JUCO athletes. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe we have, contact privacy@transfermetrics.com and we will delete it.
