What drives NIL worth
Playing time and production first. Then the market you sit in — Power 4 pays differently than FCS. Position scarcity (QB, EDGE, portal PG) moves the number more than a generic 'athlete' tag. Eligibility remaining, recruiting stars (for active HS recruits), height/weight vs what that position wants, and current NIL/social following fill in the rest.
